Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1960 single A Mess Of Blues / It's Now Or Never released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7777) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.(looks almost unplayed!)
THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTY!!!!
The labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 57 years old and has NO RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!.
The only thing that stop this from grading higher is some ringwear /creasing and a small partial seam split on the bottom (see photos)
this also has the ORIGINAL shop price sticker/seal (which kinda adds to the charm)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this great sleeve!!
That said this is a GREAT affordable collection filler until that MINT £40+ copy comes along!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $42-45(£30approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £32.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
