Description
Here it is, the psychedelic classic Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane. This is an original mono pressing from 1967, NOT a reissue.
Not only is this album a classic, it is literally a piece of history. This album helped to define the free love psychedelic movement of the late 1960's. White Rabbit and Somebody to Love are just two of the classics from this album.
Album grade- I graded this album a VG++. There are paper scuffs that do not affect play. This album does not skip. This album was cleaned with my VPI record vacuum, sucking decades worth of dust out of the grooves for a super clean sound! And this rare mono mix of the album is killer. Everything sounds bigger and more alive in mono. The sound literally jumps out at you in mono. I really can't say enough about how great it is. It sounds fantastic!
Cover grade- The cover is graded as VG+. There is not a single split on the cover, and no creases. The cover maintains its gloss. There is some shelf wear and a few spots of clear tape on the edges. Again, there are no splits.
