​Up for auction/sale is a magnificent, collector-grade copy of Elvis Presley’s 50th Anniversary definitive anthology, A Golden Celebration. This massive 6-LP set features rare outtakes, the historic 1950s TV show appearances (Ed Sullivan, Milton Berle, Steve Allen), the legendary 1956 Mississippi-Alabama Fair recordings, and home recordings.


​This particular copy is an absolute time capsule. It remains in its original factory shrink wrap complete with the original hype sticker affixed to the front.

​🎛️ The Vinyl: MINT / UNPLAYED


  • ​All 6 discs are in excellent  unplayed condition. The vinyl retains its brilliant original factory gloss, pristine labels, and sharp, untouched spindle holes. You will be the very first person to ever drop a needle on these records.

​📦 The Box Cover & Packaging: excellent (EX) in Shrink


​Shrink Wrap: The original factory shrink is still on the packaging but it has been opened,  beautifully preserving the gold-embossed box beneath it.

​Hype Sticker: The large, original blue and white hype sticker is perfectly preserved under/on the shrink wrap on the front cover.


​The Box: Thanks to the shrink wrap, the box corners are sharp, and the edges show virtually no shelf wear. (Note: The box is open at the mouth to verify contents/number, but the wrap remains fully wrapped around the jacket structure).


​Serial Number: Includes the limited edition gold foil serial number sticker on the back.

Includes an Elvis portrait. I have also included one extra that I had on hand.


​It is incredibly rare to find this 40+ year-old box set with both the shrink wrap and the hype sticker preserved, let alone with entirely unplayed, pristine vinyl inside. This is a definitive upgrade copy for a serious Elvis archive or a centerpiece for any classic rock 'n' roll collection.
