Very rare improv percussion record from this legendary finnish drummer famous from among others the psych/prog band Apollo. Edward plays Drums, Percussion, Gong,Cymbal,Cylophone, Marimba, Chimes, Sitar, Clockwork, Etc. The music is mosly percussive but  Edwards lyrical and powerful drumming makes this a musical statement, instead of a boring and lenghty drum solo. The marimba/cylophone pieces are beautiful static haunting hypnotic cuts in Terry Riley / Steve Reich vein.

This was released on the obscure Blue Master Special label that also released the very sought after Hot Lotta (Brötzmann, Kowald, Veasala, Altonen) & Apollo.

Recommendend for fans of  Avant, Free Jazz, Minimalism, Xenakis, Terry Riley, Stockhausen, Steve Reich, La Monte Young.
