Up for bid is the 4 minute Edison Blue Amberol cylinder record #4214 "12th Street Rag", performed by the Imperial Marimba Band. Released in April, 1921, this record is in good condition, with some scuffing. Plays well and sounds good. Record only, no box or lid.

The "Twelfth Street Rag" was composed by Euday L. Bowman in 1914. It is one of the most famous and best-selling rags of the ragtime era. It has been recorded by many artists, ranging from Louis Armstrong to Lester Young. Bowman worked as a pianist in some of the bordellos of Kansas City. The "Twelfth Street Rag" was named after a street in the redlight district of Kansas City, Missouri
