I HAVE JUST ACQUIRED A SMALL COLLECTION OF A DOZEN OR SO ROCK N ROLL LP's INCL JOHNNY BURNETTE , JERRY LEE LEWIS , FATS DOMINO , LITTLE RICHARD , THE CHAMPS , THE CHANTAYS AND EDDIE COCHRAN , I WILL BE LISTING ALL OVER THE NEXT WEEK OR SO AND I MUST SAY THIS REALLY IS A VERY NICE COLLECTION .

ALL RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL WHICH I HAVE SET ON A HIGH " TINNY " SETTING . I LIKE TO SET IT LIKE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in great detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more better than very good and closer to near ( if not ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , but as i say please do check my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. Eddie Cochran Singin' To My Baby London Plum Pro Cleaned . On UK London Plum / Silver Print Labels HA-U 2093 . A Rare pressing having the angled ended laminated flipbacks and no Robert Stace printing credit on the rear of the cover , also has the track Have I Told You Lately That I Love You wrongly credited to Mac Wiseman . It also has the brown coloured shaded band strip running along the main edges .
COVER: Laminated ( front and rear flipbacks only ) cover in a very very strong very good overall condition and generally still nice and clean . 
FRONT: Very nice and clean overall and still retains a very nice glossy sheen , a notoriously wear prone flimsy thin card cover and very hard nowadays to find anything like even a half decent one , but this one is certainly one of the better ones out there and in really nice shape overall , i haven't seen one this good overall in a very long time . A very few usual but small only surface laminate crease lines in places round the outer edges and just two or three other extremely small ones in places mainly towards and near to the opening edges . A very very few very light general surface marks in places mainly being a very few very fine hairlines in places and a tiny pinky red spot mark in the top right corner , though i'm not sure if this is in the actual printing of the cover . There is a little wear visible in the centre part of the top edge , but this is light only and mainly just two or three very small bits of what look like the often seen light rubbing from the outer edge of the record ,but as i say these are light and small only , there are also some patches of laminate peel visible in places along the same top edge which has spread very slightly onto the front face , but this certainly isn't overly excessive and i have tried to show this in the photos , hopefully you can see that this is just light only . There is one light only single line crease near the bottom left corner and three or four often seen very soft surface dents near the opening edge mainly towards the bottom ,There are the usual but light only ringwear marks with just a light impression of the outer edge of the record and the faintest bit of a hint of rubbing in places on the impression , but this really is extremely light only . As you can hopefully see by the photos , this really is a very nice and very clean front .
TOP / BOTTOM / LEFT HAND SIDE MAIN EDGES: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . TOP EDGE: As mentioned earlier , there is some general age related wear and rub wear present on this edge , though nothing too overly excessive , mainly just a little light roughness felt in a couple of small places and some laminate peel / very small laminate cracks etc , as i say , i have tried to show this in the photos . BOTTOM EDGE: There is some age related rub wear present and a few very small patches of laminate peel , the very light peel actually isn't obviously visible and can just be slightly felt if you run your finger along this edge , again there are two or three tiny and light laminate cracks in places . LEFT HAND SIDE EDGE: Obviously normally this would be the main spine edge , but all of the text on these thin card covers because there is no actual spine , were printed on the rear edge . This edge just has some general age related rub wear , but these really are just a few tiny spot marks in places , there are just two or three tiny extremely light laminate cracks present , though barely visible .
MAIN SPINE EDGE: N/A . 
OPENING EDGES: In very nice shape overall with no heavy fraying etc , there is just some usual but mainly very light and very small bits of dent / useage wear on the very outer edges only on the front and rear and just the slightest hint only of a bit of waviness present in places , i have shown the opening edges face on in the photos and hopefully you can see what i mean , anything really is just very very light only and just on the very outer edges , again these are notoriously wear / tear prone but these really are in great shape overall .
CORNERS: Some usual but mostly light and very small bits of fray / dent wear on the corners , virtually all being confined to on or very close to the tip ends , the tiny bits of laminate are obviously missing on these tip ends only as is normally always the case , but again these corners really have faired very well over the years .  There are , being a bit picky a few tiny creases very tight onto the corners , but these really are very small indeed , again anything really just consistent with age and use etc .  
REAR: Very nice overall . A very few mostly very light and very small general surface marks in places and just the very lightest signs of the usual age / use related grubby marks present in places , mainly near the opening edge and a very few light and small marks just below the outer edge of the top flipback , but any of this really is very light only , there is no nasty browning present and overall it still retains it's general whiteness nicely . A few usual surface laminate crease / wear lines in places round the edges and on the laminate on the flipbacks , though mainly on the top flipback , again there are a few small places of laminate peel present on the top edge , there are just a couple of other very light surface crease crack lines in places and a very few very soft very light and small usual dent marks in places near the opening edge , but these really are very few and very light only . There are the usual ringwear marks , but these really are amazingly very light only with just a very light impression of the outer edge of the record and just the slightest bit of rubbing in places on the impression , mainly on the centre section near the opening edge . There is the same crease line as mentioned on the front description near the bottom left corner , but this is very light and is actually more like a dent line than a hard crease . All text is still lovely and clear and there is no rubbing present on the text etc . As i say , this cover overall , really is in great condition considering it's notorious fragility etc , it's been a long time since i saw one generally this good and clean .
INNER SLEEVE: Printed purple ( lilac colour ) text on one side poly lined inner sleeve in near excellent overall condition and in great shape . A very very few very very light general surface / age related / handling marks in places and just the slightest hint of a little foxing in places near to the edges . The usual but very very light ringwear marks . A very very few extremely light surface crease marks in places and there are just the usual but only very very slightly more prominent creases / dent lines caused by the outer edge of the record on and near the corners . Some mostly very very light normal useage wear on the top opening edges , though i think at some point in it's life , the very top edge has been trimmed as the edges aren't quite straight in a couple of places , hence the near excellent grade . I can't confirm if this is the original inner sleeve , but it certainly is consistent with the ones at the time and with the make . 
LABELS: London plum / silver print paper labels generally in near excellent condition . Both are lovely and clean with just a very very few very light and small usual spindle marks , being picky , then there is a patch on the upper part of S2 label which at certain angles to and in certain light conditions , does appear a very slightly darker shade of the plum colour , this is just on the upper section and really very very light only as you can hopefully see , i did try to catch it so it can be seen in the photos , i actually think that this is just a very slight printing defect than anything else and does not harm any of the text etc , in fact i doubt most people would have even bothered mentioning this , but i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions . Both labels are writing free .
RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a very strong near excellent condition , though i think a lot may say airing a little closer to the actual excellent side overall with just a very very few extremely light and faint hairline surface marks on both sides and just a very very very few other very small extremely light surface marks in places ( one larger but still very light non feelable non sounding , similar to a bag sweat mark on S2 T1 , really very light ) , most of the very very few fine hairlines and some of the very very few extremely light and small surface marks are also only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light , there are no nasty deep gouges / nasty deep scratches etc whatsoever . I will say that there is what appears to be a line which runs round the blank run off just before the actual very end of the run off on both sides , they do appear to be done as part of the manufacturing process and to me appear to be machine done but obviously i can't confirm this in saying this , they can be felt , it passes through the line on both sides with just a noise as it passes through it , i must admit i am at a loss to know what this line is . As i don't know what they are and because of the bit of noise , to be sure , all i did in the end on my second testing was to just take the arm off when the record had finished and before it reached the line and again to be sure i would also recommend this action if you are unsure , actually i doubt most people would have even mentioned them , but as you know , i do like to be thorough with all my descriptions , i have shown this in the last photo so you can see exactly what i mean . Obviously this had no affect on the music playback at all as it is just on the run offs .
AUDIO A SIDE: It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really just some usual but very light mostly background noise in places mainly on some of the quieter parts , being mostly on T5/6 , i must stress though that any of this was minimal only and did not overpower any of the music or vocals in any way , there was no nasty deafening crackle or nasty loud ticks etc and it did not spoil any enjoyment whatsoever being light only , there was just the very very very occasional very faint isolated pop in places , there was also some very light background noise and one single ultra light isolated "Sch" noise on T1 , but as i say any noise really was minimal and to be expected on a record of this considerable age but not excessive in any way . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that even these were very quiet overall . This side on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a nice shine . 
AUDIO B SIDE: It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really on the whole , very little noise worthy of serious mention , just some usual but mostly very light occasional background noise in places on some quieter parts only and just some still very light static like noise present on T2 , but again this was light only , it definitely didn't overpower any of the music or vocals in any way and certainly did not spoil any enjoyment whatsoever being light only , there was just the very very very occasional odd very faint isolated pop in places , as i say any noise really was very minimal and even the very quieter T5/6 played and sounded great ! . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that even these were very quiet indeed . This side on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a nice shine . There really is very little noise worthy of serious note to report on this side on the music , any of the very odd bits of noise on the music were light background only and mostly occasional only ( bar the still light noise on T2 ) , this one overall really is a very nice example , getting hard to find in this condition nowadays ! .

Near Excellent: The playing surface on the record has obviously been played but generally shows only light signs of this , a few of the lightest non feelable surface marks being mostly very fine hairlines will be present , but it displays no major deterioration in sound quality . Some light noise and very occasional usual light pop will be present in places and would be acceptable on some quieter parts , but none of this will be excessively loud . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc , Ebays 10% extra fee for seller postage costs plus their other fees and Paypal now charging 20p per item sold on Ebay plus their other fees .
