Description
This is the ORIGINAL 1969 eponimously titled DAVID BOWIE LP on Philips records with the gatefold sleeve .
The condition is Mint minus.This LP looks and plays magnificently .
Retropectively this has proved to be the first in a very long line of totally classic LPs filled with superb tracks and no "filler" bits at all , this is a truly classic and amazingly underrated LP .
Presented here in a truly beautiful arty sleeve , it is a piece of 1960s rock history ,and a great item to own . At last , Englands Record Collector magazine has begun to drag itself up to date valuationwise, and recently raised the value on this LP to £400 and rightly so ,this is an incredibly difficult LP to locate and highly sort after.
The sleeve has slight edgewear visible clearly if you double click the pictures . Slight scuffing is also visible on the spine due to the fact This LP was never laminated on its release so most of these LP sleeves sustain some degree of damage .There are no rips, tares , no ringwear and no unwanted handwriting anywhere on this item .
Again double click the pictures to see the quality of the vinyl . It is in truly beautiful condition retaining a very high lustre , there is very little evidence of use to this record .Hardly a spindle mark and superbly impressive black and silver Philips labels .
This is a gem of a find especially in this rare RARE condition .
Under the stongest light only the tiniest of hairlines is visible and has no effect on the play at all it plays MINT throughout .
I would grade this LP a cocervitive mint- . Seriously rare in this condition ! It plays totally with no flaws at all .
