The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks.

There are only incredibly light marks to either side...REALLY NOT WORTH WORRYING ABOUT AS THEY DON'T AFFECT PLAYBACK .

After giving her a gentle vacuum clean I gave her a loud and thorough listening to, through the whole of the album...GORGEOUS, DEEP AND RICH SOUND RE-PRODUCTION....WHAT AN ALBUM!!

There isn't any significant background noise at all....Gloriously clear throughout...All I noticed was a soft and light, faint pop on Yellow Submarine (This was only noticeable as I was playing the record at volume).

I noticed a very pronounced bass line on Tax Man which was wonderful :)

IT GOES WITHOUT SAY THERE ARE NO SKIPS OR JUMPS!

Superb original sound, HEAVY and flat and retains it's wonderful shine.

Quiet inbetween tracks.

Even the run-ins were as silent as you could hope for on an almost 60 year old album-I didn’t notice even ANY significant noise..Magical!

Rich bass and clear peaks.

With barely any hole wear to mention...really, REALLY NICE.

WOW-what a cover.

Remains white and stands out wonderfully from the crowd.

There are just 4 or 5 small crescent spidering marks to the front laminate, near the opening...with some small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams.

The corners are strong with just light storage wear.

Incredibly strong & clean Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks.

Even the 'REVOLVER' title to the back card remains as white today as it was when born in '66....BUT...it does have The Beatles’ names within that title-that is the singular point to down grade this wonderful cover.

It is the ORIGINAL 'Use Emitex' inner in simply superb condition-Just some paper discolouration from age (a bit like me).

It also has the much rarer, early text: "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" to the bottom left corner-WOW!

Certainly done her job in keeping this record in top condition.
