Released on the local San Francisco AROJ label in 1981 with title African Roots of Jazz and this is a nice copy of this fantastic local rarity. Glorious, uplifting percussive jazz with soaring female chorus on tracks like "The Healer/Don't Break", "Tisha's Place/One Morning Soon", "Imani" and more.
