1963 EMI recording CSD 1499
'Music for Viola and Cello'
Side One - Herbert Downes, viola - pieces by Handel, Vaughan Williams, Cui, Brahms, Bach.
Side Two - Jacqueline du Pre, cello - pieces by Bach (2), Saint-Saens, Falla, Bruch (Kol Nidrei)
Both artists accompanied variously by Gerald Moore, Osian Ellis, Kinloch Anderson, Roy Jesson and John Williams.
Record has a few very light ticks on track1 Du Pre, otherwise is in excellent clean condition and plays well. Sleeve shows a bit of age-related wear but is generally very good.
