We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Sonny Boy Williamson was, in many ways, the ultimate blues legend. By the time of his death in 1965, he had been around long enough to have played with Robert Johnson at the start of his career and Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Robbie Robertson (The BAND, guy) at the end of it.
- In between, he drank a lot of whiskey, hobo'ed around the world, had a successful radio show for 15 years, toured Europe to great acclaim and simply wrote, played and sang some of the greatest blues ever etched into black-phonograph records. His delivery was sly, evil and world-weary, while his harp-playing was full of short, rhythmic bursts one minute and powerful, impassioned blowing the next. Sonny Boy Williamson & the Yardbirds was recorded in England at the Star Club and the Crawdaddy Club.
"Bye, Bye, Bird" is a lively and brief opening number of harp funtastics by Sonny Boy, and then it's right into: "Mister Downchild" with some brisk lead guitar by Eric that is played off Sonny Boy's harp. "Pontiac Blues" is our favorite cut on thisalbum. Sonny Boy, gives the performance of the night on this one. The vocals are chilling. This IS the blues as only the master can perform them and you are not going hear it done this way any more, This is the REAL DEAL...Delta Blues with the young and spikey Yardbirds, hanging on Sonny's every note.
The Yarbirds, "Do The Weston", is the Band, without Sonny Boy and features some nice leads by the Young Eric Clapton with Keith blowing his harp. This is: "Pre-Rave-Up" Yardbirds, and and is a pioneer sound to the later sixties London Blues Revoulution that included John Mayall and Peter Green's, Fleetwood Mac. -
