Description

Artist : EPITAPH

Title: Stop, Look and Listen

Label: German Polydor 2371 274 (1972)

Reminiscent of the dual guitar Wishbone Ash sound, with standout tracks like "Fly." and "Stop, Look and Listen". The title tune "Stop, Look And Listen" is their band-anthem-song, and turned into important song for their live performance. This LP is much in the same progressive vein of their debut LP, before they moved to the more US/UK heavy rock sound and then into NWOBHM. A true artifiact of the heavy undergound rock scene of the 70s in Germany and the stoned vibe of those days.

Reasonable Reserve.

Vinyl Condition:  EX

Cover Condition: EX- (laminated cover in bautiful condition with tiny bend to upper right corner)

I am not a professional dealer; just trying to finance my vinyl habit by thinning the herd after upgrades and trades.  I try my best to grade these honestly under bright light and most of the time after a recent spin. I grade conservatively to avoid the disappointments I have experienced on eBay.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING:  Shipping and handling charges are $4.00 for domestic US shipping.  This is not negotiable and includes all costs, fees and materials. Insurance and/or delivery confirmation are recommended but are your responsibility to request at additional cost.  Please do not bid if you do not agree to these terms. Please take a look at my additional auctions and save on shipping for multiple wins. Insurance available to US at cost upon request.   International bidders - $19.00 airmail to pretty much anywhere on earth.  Up to 4 LPs can be sent for small incremental charges, after 4 LPs must be sent air parcel post (expensive).

Thank you for bidding on my auction or even just for stopping by!!!!  Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding and do not bid if any policies or questions remain unclear.  I will gladly and cheerfully answer all inquiries and love to chat about early 70s obscure heavy rock. Feedback promptly returned to close transaction.

Thanks to Record Collector Magazine for use of this Grading scale. I use the symbols (+/-) or (++) in some cases to enhance detail.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
