Another insane Ennio Morricone's jam released on the collectors legendary RCA SP series, known to be pressed on only 200 copies. The great maestro along with his inseparable director Bruno Nicolai wrote the music for a series called "DIMENSIONI SONORE - Musiche per l'immagine e l'immaginazione" composed of 10 volumes and released by Italian RCA. Pulled put on very limited edition vinyls, this music here was exclusively ordered and written for a Library/TV synchronization purpose and composed with the insane Morricone's Experimental musical vein. Gruppo Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza is probably the studio orchestra playing in this session where the maestro created some insane Experimental music for images and and filmic themes / Avant-garde compositions with huge fuzzy sections / sporadic Edda Dell'Orso scary Scat intrusions / atonal Psych with tone variations / dreamy tunes / inspired early '70s Giallo and Thriller music / loads of different musical moods with the most various expressive and dynamic compositions. Very similar in style to another classic of Morricone's Avant-garde & Experimental production "CONTROFASE" on Gemelli. Full back liner notes reprinted on all the volumes by Sergio Leone, Giuliano Montaldo, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Elio Petri and Gillo Pontecorvo. Mindblowing sleeve artwork too.

If you listen to "ALTERNANZE" you'll be immediately be captured by the incredible fuzzy vibes backed by scary vocals, dope drumming drugs and percussions. Swinging drums tempo with insane acid guitars experiments, killer. Worthy of the best Morricone's filmic music. "STATICO" is a great score theme with suspended tempo, while "TRASFORMAZIONI" gets stunning drums solo improvisation with sharp charleston patterns. "COSTANTE" reveals Edda's vocals and Analog Synth genius. Amazing Italian Library LP!!
