Description

ELVIS PRESLEY mystery train purple/gold HMV 7MC 42!

 

Original UK 7-inch single.

Released in 1957, on the HMV (purple/gold) record label, catalogue number 7MC 42.

B-side: I forgot to remember to forget.

 

Record labels are in EXCELLENT condition, with all the original print on both sides fully visible, and with no damage.

Some spindle edge hole wear on the B-side, but is moulded slightly raised around the spindle hole.

 

Playing surfaces are in VERY GOOD condition, with mostly fine line surface scuffs visible on the outer record edges, playing and matrix areas, on both sides.

Surface scuffs are not heavy and there is nothing that you can feel

 

Record play grades VERY GOOD

There is some low level background surface noise (crackles/clicks), mainly evident on the run in grooves, quite parts and the endings.

Sound displays no loud crackles, no loud clicks and does not jump.
