Description

On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by Elvis Presley (with Scotty & Bill) called "Mystery Train" and is an ORIGINAL 1957 UK EXPORT 1st Pressing on the 1st Press HMV GOLD label!!!!  The B side is called 'I Forgot To Remember To Forget'.  THIS 45 IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY ELVIS PRESLEY'S RAREST UK 45 EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1957 WHEN THIS 45 WAS FIRST RELEASED - VIRTUALLY EVERYONE WAS STILL BUYING 78s, AND SINGLES WERE ONLY SELLING IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS!!!!  AS A RESULT FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS ULTRA RARE 45 IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  AND THIS 45 IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE UK EXPORT 1ST PRESSING - ONLY EVER MADE IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS FOR EXPORT ONLY (ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST!)!!!!

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS 45 EVEN RARER STILL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS 45!!!!  AMAZINGLY, NOT ONLY DOES IT HAVE 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MATRIX ENDINGS, BUT INCREDIBLY IT HAS 1/G 1/G MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS - CLEARLY SHOWING THAT THIS IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND ONE OF THE FIRST 300 COPIES EVER PRESSED!!!!  THIS 45 ALSO HAS THE CORRECT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'RT' TAX CODE STAMPED IN THE RUN OFF GROOVES - DATING IT EXACTLY TO THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1957!!!!  IT EVEN HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS HMV COMPANY SLEEVE ASWELL - WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'ALL BLACK TEXT'!!!!  LATER ONES OF COURSE HAD BLACK TEXT WITH 'RED TEXT' AT THE TOP, AND LATER STILL THE SLEEVES WERE CHANGED TO THE MORE COMMON ALL RED TEXT (MUCH EASIER TO FIND).  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS AMAZING 45 YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS SINGLE HAS A BRILLIANT SET OF LABELS - AND IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS HMV COMPANY SLEEVE (AS MENTIONED ABOVE) WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY 100% GENIUNE - AND NOT A RE-PRO!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1957 UK 'EARLIEST' HMV GOLD EXPORT 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS EXPORT HMV PURPLE LABELS (WITH 'GOLD' PRINT!), 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1G/1G MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS (THE 'EARLIEST' EVER!), 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'RT' TAX CODING, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'ALL BLACK TEXT' HMV COMPANY SLEEVE!!!!  THIS 45 IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL HMV UK 1st Pressing from 1957 and is SERIOUSLY rare in every respect!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL 1957 HMV UK EXPORT MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press HMV Gold label and the Cat No is 7MC 42.

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, barely ANY wear AT ALL, VERY nice Gold Print, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The record is in GREAT condition overall (though not perfect)!!!!  Most of these 50s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and still retains a VERY shiny appearance!!!!  However - it does have 1 visually obvious scuffline (NON sounding), 2 or 3 TINY visual surface marks (again NON sounding!), only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO jumps, NO sticks, and only some slight background crackle - though this is virtually UNAVOIDABLE on these VERY early 1950s 45s!!!!  The record must grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - and this record still gives a VERY good account of itself on playback, and is still VERY presentable indeed!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  This record comes in its ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press 'All Black Text' HMV Company Sleeve which is in GREAT condition (NO edge splits, etc) and is VERY presentable indeed (see pictures!)!!!!  THIS SINGLE MAY NOT BE 100% MINT - BUT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, HAS VERY NICE LABELS, PLAYS FINE, AND IS VERY PRESENTABLE INDEED!!!!  THIS 45 IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!  It really is a great looking record and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE single!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1957 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO EXPORT 1ST PRESSING OF "MYSTERY TRAIN" BY ELVIS PRESLEY!!!!    Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs & 45s and contact me with any queries you may have.
