My listings will include rare and not so rare but as vinyl is in such demand these days I'll be covering the whole spectrum, as I firmly believe there is a market for everything (NO musical snobbery !!). All records have been sourced ,by extensive advertising, from private collections, and are not from shoddy wholesale job lots. These LPs were purchased from a meticulous collector who played the majority of the records only a couple of times, transferred them to tape and then wrapped them all in cling film years ago....hence the remarkable condition.....in fact, with most he stuck a small sticker out of sight (just inside the opening edge) with the original purchase price of the record !

SIDE 1....2XAV 255-1N with stampers "H" at 3 O'Clock and Mothers "1" at 9 O'Clock

SIDE 2....2XAV 256-1N with stampers "GD" at 3 O'Clock and Mothers "1" at 9 O'Clock

  GOOD CRISP SLEEVE.

I purchased this recently from a neighbour called Harry Potter (!! seriously !) who bought the record new on it's release. It displays no deep marks/scratches but unfortunately, it was played with a harsh needle (nail!!?) and plays with background distortion mainly in the left channel....it does ,however, sound ok if you stand 10-15 feet back from your speakers or listen to it from the next room...shame really ! The music / his voice still do sound good though !

CONDITION

SLEEVE

The fully laminated flipback sleeve is in GOOD condition. A solid, crisp sleeve with intermittent patches of wear to the edges, wear to the spine corners, wear/splits to the opening edge corners, only slight ring wear, wear/laminate lift and peel and softening to the opening edges and a tear to both. Rear face...wear/tears/sellotape repairs and residue and bit's missing from the top flipback, the bottom flipback is all there but has wear/laminate loss.creasing. There is no discolouration, no mustiness, no grubbiness, no tears, no writing, no stickers, and a couple of patches of wear/creases to a an almost readable spine. The sleeve grades GOOD

INNER SLEEVE

New replacement polylined inner sleeve 

The record has been played and has numerous marks/scuff marks/needle marks and groovewear....nothing too deep though. The vinyl grades FAIR/GOOD and plays with background distortion/crackle....but it is surprisingly quiet in between tracks !...with NO skips, NO jumps, NO sticks, very few pops.....it is an enjoyable listen because it's Elvis, but as I said above, it sounds better when you're 10-15 feet away from the speakers / in another room !

LABELS

The labels with the RT Tax Code grade near MINT , with a few visible spindle marks on each side , with no wear to the spindle holes, and with no unwanted wear or writing.

PLEASE NOTE: UNLESS NOT NEEDED or THE RECORD IS SEALED....ALL RECORDS HAVE BEEN CLEANED ON AN "OKKI NOKKI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE" using the correct  mix of distilled water and concentrate !!

THIS RECORD HAS BEEN CLEANED, ZAPPED WITH AN ANTI-STATIC GUN, AND GIVEN A NEW POLYLINED INNER SLEEVE.

If I'm not entirely happy with the way a record plays, I don't list it....simple as that....I'LL MAKE AN EXCEPTION WITH THIS ONE THOUGH !
