ELVIS PRESLEY – KING CREOLE (LPM-1884) NEAR MINT FIRST PRESSING with RARE, NM BONUS PHOTO!
RECORD: NM- Hollywood pressing with beautiful, glossy surfaces! The only reason for the “minus” in the assigned grade is due to the few very light spindle marks seen on the gorgeous labels as well as a minor surface scuff on the title track. This scuff has virtually no effect on the audible performance and this album played beautifully upon test! Obviously adult-owned for its entire existence, the vinyl is simply stunning and truly rare this nice. The matrix numbers end with 6S/4S, respectively.
COVER: NM and nearly perfect with virtually no ring wear on either side! The white areas remain WHITE with absolutely no yellowing from age nor any foxing. There are no seam splits, tape, staple holes or writing. However, there is a lower right-hand corner tip bend present, which is quite trivial when taking in the amazing beauty and originality of this 65-year-old cover. The original RCA Victor inner sleeve is included. “Elvis’ Golden Records” is within the listing of other available albums on the back side of the sleeve.
BONUS PHOTO: MINT 8” x 10” black & white glossy photo of Elvis in his U.S. Army uniform. This photo has just one minor, and very trivial, upper left corner tip bend. This photo is simply stunning and original!
