ELVIS PRESLEY- "ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM" RARE JAPANESE LP WITH UNIQUE COVER. VICTOR SHP-5494.
I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items, vintage car parts etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s & 1960s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go. A very, very rare Japanese pressing of this brilliant LP from Elvis with a very unique sleeve, seen in no other countries. I've seen copies of this sell for £800 in the past (!) though recently they've reached lesser amounts. The sleeve (the usual lightweight card used by the Japanese in the 60s) has a great front & back & is in great shape with vivid colours & showing just minor age wear & ring wear (rear). Spines are all good & the inner of the gatefold is in good shape but does show some browning in places. The record in it's original inner (minor split) has good labels but does have spindle marks. The record itself has a great lustre & shows fine marks when held under bright light but no major deep scratches. This LIVING STEREO plays well & for once the stereo effect works quite well on certain tracks.
