Description
Lovely copy of the original 1957 true first pressing of Elvis’ Christmas Album, on RCA LOC-1035. 1S/1S stamps and gold lettering on the spine. The disc has some sleeve scuffs and a superficial mark or two, but it plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. Maybe some tiny faint crackle between some songs, but barely. Really this copy plays gorgeously. The cover is likewise gorgeous, with a perfectly intact spine, complete photo book, and untorn binding, and no seam splits. There is some edgewear but not bad. The two right corners are somewhat rubbed, and there is a surface “rash”, or a tear on the outer paper, near the lower left of the front, like a sticker tear or something like that. Nonetheless it is a very well intact cover with not much wear. Aside from what I have mentioned it is quite strikingly clean and well-preserved. All the photos in the gatefold booklet are present and clean, with no loose pages or tears at all. This is a quite beautiful original copy.
