This is your chance to own an absolutely superb copy of progressive group Egg's debut album (which includes the epic "A Visit To Newport Hospital"). this record has been very well looked after and I would be very surprised if you could find another copy in as good condition.
The outer sleeve looks fantastic without any creases, tears, seam-splits, ring-wear, edge-wear or writing. The colours are bright and vibrant and have not faded over time and all of the text can be clearly read along the spine. The only minor blemish is some small black marks on the top right of the back sleeve. These very small marks look like they were a result of a printing error when the sleeve was being produced - check out the photos attached. Cover Grading: Near Mint.
The original poly-lined sleeve has helped to keep the record itself in pristine condition. The Deram labels are clean and undamaged and make me think that this record was probably only played a handful of times. The vinyl has retained its deep lustre and from a visual inspection there are no scratches, scuffs or even hairlines. Listening to a record is the real test and this one doesn't disappoint. Needless to say there are no pops, clicks or skips. I have listened to the album from start to finish and there is almost zero surface noise which is very important for songs with a dynamic range that goes from very quiet to very loud. I have no hesitation in grading the vinyl Near Mint.
