Edward Larry Gordon -- Presenting Celestial Vibration Through Edward Larry Gordon LP
Original 1978 US stereo private pressing on SWN Corp. (Portland ME) (catalog # 52824), with original textured cover.Experimental cosmic free music, zither with heavy phasing. "Through electrifying it and employing various devices such as wooden hammers, guitar picks, phase shifters, chopsticks with rubber bands wound around them, he coaxes sounds from the zither that remind one of roaring oceans, chirping birds, evening breezes teasing treetops."
Gordon has been known as Laraaji since just after the release of this 1978 record, starting with Ambient 3: Day of Radiance, which was produced by Brian Eno.
Very rare album, also notable for it's inclusion in Stuart Baker and Gilles Peterson's new cover art book Freedom, Rhythm, and Sound.
CONDITION: Cover NM- / Vinyl NM close to new, vinyl is near pristine. Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]grade only used if record is brand new.
