PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC were a leading sixties British blues band, making electric blues rock into a vital British style, based on it's US origins.
In this, they were very reverent of the actual American originals who played it, and composed so much of the music.
Producer and fellow enthusiast MIKE VERNON was so dedicated that he started his own lable, Blue Horizon, to represent the genre - he produces this album on the great lable.
Peter Green was a very special guitarist, known for his exceptional feel in playing and singing.
He was seriously good, and in a sense felt some guilt from profiting from blues - knowing so many original artists didn't!
His respect was clear during his life in music.
He played with some top legends in blues too.
EDDIE BOYD sings and plays piano so emotionally, and they all sound like they're enjoying playing together - and they do play off each other throughout this wonderful album!
This is a quality fulfilling album of excellent tunes, and great to get into.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG++ to EXCELLENT.
A couple of light marks, nothing feelable. Light pressing 'shadow' visible (that's since new).
Slight travel 'static' between tracks.
Sky blue Labels are VG+, having some spots - probably from being stored for years. Otherwise no pen, stickers or obscured text (see pics)
The Single Card Laminated Cover grades VG+
The rear has one slightly roughed area.
There's the 'STEREO' sticker at the top right - common with period CBS company issues.
A lined inner sleeve is included.
