THE BEATLES - 'LET IT BE'
This NEAR MINT UK pressing of their final album is a 1st post-box set release from mid-1970 and is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7096
Matrix numbers: YEX 773-3U & YEX 774-2U
Stamper codes: 2/GGA & 4/GPG
Disc weight: 140g
The disc is housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed EXPORT cover with a boxed Parlophone symbol on the rear panel and 'PPCS 7096' printed on the spine.
Complete with its original & correct plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

A superb clean & vibrant pair with no more than a handful of faint spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: MINT
Pristine 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces which are completely unmarked in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Not even a paper hairline in sight on this flawless disc which lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This flawless sounding copy has has received just a few extremely careful plays on top-quality equipment and my single careful play-check at volume found no trace of any groove/playwear anywhere - even on John's opening 'I Dig A Pygmy..' remark. Elsewhere, apart from a touch of normal light background between tracks, there is nothing else to fault. It really sounds as good as it looks..
Cover: NEAR MINT
This superb example is perfectly clean & retains it's high-gloss laminate all around which bears just a hint of storage rubbing and a single, faint 1cm 'thumbnail' on the front panel but nothing at all on the rear. There is slight bruising to the left corners only but absolutely no wear whatsoever to either opening edge. Both seams are smooth, unstressed and unsplit and the spine is unworn and fully worded. A tough one to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Clean & flat and unworn with just a hint of natural age-toning and an unavoidable light disc impression but no writing seam splits or tears.
