Description
This is an auction of a very rare Blue Note ORIGINAL JAZZ CLASSIC - Duke Jordan - Flight to Jordan - ORIGINAL BLUE NOTE 4046 MONO with the 47 WEST 63rd DG deep groove labels. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder - an "ear" and 'RVG" stamped in the deadwax trailoff of both sides. A great sublime jazz classic and Blue Note rarity. Record is VISUALLY graded as SIDE 1 = Mint- with a very faint paper scuff, SIDE 2 = VG++ with just a few light marks - SIDE 1 PLAY GRADES Mint-, SIDE 2 PLAY GRADES Mint- to VG++ due ONLY to a faint few seconds of crackle and a second or two of a tick.
Cover presents well from the front but is VG+ due to a name written on back, a small piece of tape on back and also at front upper left (I think easily removed but I will not try it), a price sticker at lower right, a tiny nick at lower right corner tip and a pair of 3" beginning splits at top edge.
