Duke Ellington Piano in the Foreground RARE UK 1st press Stereo vinyl LP EX+/VG+ 1963 CBS

Cat: SBPG 62204

The vinyl is really nice condition, EX+ visually very bright and glossy and a really nice slab as you'd expect from an early(ish) 1960s CBS press. There's only 1 faint mark which is predominantly on the run out grooves but due to this I've graded it just below NM at EX+. The CBS front laminated sleeve is a reaaly solid VG+ light ring wear and light corner rubs/dings (see pics) but still really solid. Lovely spine text and clean from any writing with all flipbacks intact. Both textured orange CBS labels have no writing and very few spindle marks, looks very lightly played. Both rough labels also have 33 instead of the later label 33 1/3 which dates this (I believe) before 1967 as at that point CBS changed all labels to have 33 1/3.
