Description
Jim Morrison "Three Hours For Magic" original USA 33 1/3 rpm promotional Long-playing (LP) four phonograph record boxed set, London Wavelength Records, with program and script. This four record boxed set was not released commercially. This promotional only special includes previously unreleased Jim Morrison material in the form of song, poetry, and interview segments, made especially for an FM radio station. Also included are twenty-nine songs by The Doors (Jim Morrison, Robbie Krieger, Ray Manzarek, and John Densmore). The records have white labels, with Jim Morrison photograph labels, black London Wavelength logos, and black print text. All eight labels are clean, with no writing on any side. This album was manufactured for the broadcast use of pre-cleared London Wavelength affiliates on the designated date and time scheduled by the network. This particular special was never aired in the market that it was obtained from, and the records have never been played. The records are banded so that commercials may be played in-between the segments. Three of the records comprise the three-hour special, and one record is commercial spots on one side, and drop-ins and promos on the other side. There are two different versions of the commercial disc. This is the "B" version of the special, with Coors and Coors Light Beer spots. "Three Hours For Magic" was released in the United States, in 1978.
