Blurb: This has got to be one of the most unique jazz recordings out there. Cherry cut this album while living on a commune in Sweden and used the fellow Hippies as his backing band. They produced some beautiful, clear, totally unique music. There is a fantastic cover of Pharoah‘s ‘ the Creator Has A Master Plan‘ that has all the hallmarks of a classic Spiritual Jazz recording---Long and Deep. My personal favourite is Don Cherry‘s own ‘Utopia and Visions‘…truly sublime.

Note on Grading:

M- : wax is clean, looks and sounds unplayed

Vg++ : wax plays perfect though visually it may have a light, inaudible mark or two.

Vg+ : still a good LP, though there is an audible defect, either a mark or background noise.

Vg: wax has many marks that cause clicks or background noise. The LP’s still playable, though it’s not going to sound like new, that’s for sure.

Vg-: forget about it
