Dokken Breakin' The Chains ORIGINAL Carrere Records Release as “Don Dokken” RARE


When Don Dokken secured a record deal in Germany with Carrere and with his new band in tow, unbeknownst to his band mates , the first pressing was not released as “Dokken” but as “Don Dokken”. Needless to say, accident or on purpose, it was quickly fixed for future pressings and when the album was picked up by Electra records in the U.S..

You can see in the photos on the actual vinyl where it is printed “Don Dokken” “Breakin’ The Chains”

This is also the original cover which has a bit of a different look as to what most know and bought.


This is pre-owned but in very good to excellent condition. Vinyl looks fantastic.


Bonus: The album cover is signed by George Lynch.
