Kenny Burrell  Blue Lights Vol. 1  (Blue Note 1596)  Hands down, this record is among the most beautiful sounding jazz records of all-time, and offered here is the original Blue Note deep-groove 1st pressing.  Kenny Burrell leads an amazing cast of Blue Note regulars, with Tina Brooks, Louis Hayes and Junior Cook alternating on saxes.  Absolutely incredible sounding recording, and and example of what made engineer Rudy Van Gelder so great.  Crystal clear and very loud!   Super rare in any condition.  Don't sleep on this one.

Record grade: VG  Clean and glossy, extra heavyweight vinyl, with some scratches here and there, but looks are deceiving.  With the exception of some crackle and light tics during a few quiet passages, record plays well and above VG grade 90% of the time.
Cover notes:  Famous Andy Warhol designed cover, and one of Blue Note's all-time best.  Solid, laminated and glossy hard-board jacket, with clear spine and tight seams all around, but with some water damage on bottom and opening.  Still stunning!
