Description

Diana Ross/Supremes Unreleased LP demo “Around the World with the Supremes.” RARE. This is probably a one-of-a kind Motown collectible. At the height of their fame, The Supremes, prepared to release an album “Around the world with The Supremes,” but it never materialized. Songs include classics like “Danke Shoen” and new songs. One sog was supposed to be “Around the world with the Supremes.” See labels. This may be the only copy extant, except for one possibly in the Motown vault. Nevertheless, it is extremely rare. Good condtion. Never played, but dealer said he played part of one track and it was NOT Diana singing, in his opinion. Most likely, it was a demo sung by The Andantes, who often did the demos for Diana. This was purchased at Motown more than thirty years back. Price then on cellophane, for information’s sake. As rare a Supremes relic as can be found perhaps.
