missionsellit Store

LP Excellent Cover Good (Glue repairs) This LP has the same master stampers as the expensive and rare Columbia UK Columbia pressing stock No. 33CX 1415.Pressed in Australia it has stock no. on label 33OCX 1415 It has a FULL UK Printed cover, scallop flipback with reverse side lamination, which makes the cover circa 1958 (by my estimation)
Cover has some lamination lifts on front and a repaired (Glued) top rear flipback, and opening edge tear on rear (rated GOOD)

LP Wet Washed and test played twice after treating with "LAST" record preservative, FULL TEST PLAY REPORT BELOW.

David Oistrakh (Violin) and Vladimir Yampolsky (Piano) play

Tartini Sonata in G Minor (Devil's Trill arr. Kreisler)  &

Mozart Sonata No. 32 in B Flat Major K454

As a Cello player myself, It was totally enjoyable test playing this excellent compilation of piano and Violin duets.

same master stamper as Columbia UK 33CX 1415 Mono Lp (never issued in Stereo SAX series) Blue and Gold label Mono pressed in Australia 33OCX 1415

Stampers side 1 XAX 905-1N

Stampers side 2 XAX 904-3N

Record fully test played and treated with archive preservative(LAST), test play report below

SOME STAMPER NUMBERS ARE VISIBLE IN THE SUPERSIZE PHOTO'S

I thought someone  might like a reasonably priced analogue production (compared to 100GBP+ for the original IN MINT CONDITION) and appreciate it for the sound, and not because its a valuable investment as the originals have become.

RECORD PLAYS QUITE CLEANLY, ALTHOUGH SIDE B MOZART HAS SOME REPETETIVE TICS AND A LITTLE MORE SURFACE NOISE THAN THE AMAZING DEVIL'S TRILL ON SIDE 1.  THIS lp IS ALL 'QUIET' MUSIC WITH ONLY VIOLIN AND PIANO, SO THE SLIGHTEST VINYL NOISE WILL SHOW, HENCE MY CONSERVATIVE Excellent rating, nothing here to lessen your enjoyment of some great violin /piano playing, although Audiophiles expecting dead clean vinyl should NOT bid on this item, more suited to 'violinphiles' who want a cheap copy of an absurdly expensive recording off original stampers if the words "Made in Gt. Britain " appear on the record label.

If you already have an original Columbia pressing, Buy THIS  lp and You can play it instead of  wearing out your original 33cx 1415 investment !

THIS IS AN AUSTRALIAN PRESSING but made from stampers exactly the same as mono 33cx 1415 Blue and Gold Label.

These are probably rarer than the  originals, issued in a country at the time in the 60's with a total population of 12 million people, Check out my other items   Audiophile and Classical especially the other violin and cello

NO..... I will not reduce the stated value of the LP on any customs declarations, Australia post bases its insurance on the declared value, so if I understate it I am at risk of losing its value should it go missing, You as a buyer are covered by paypal protection, so bid accordingly.

NO .... seller protection with Paypal does not cover me if its not insured, I know I have looked into the situation EXTENSIVELY!!

(Condition also see Photo's)

Record has been wet washed in a Knosti Bath, followed by  a treatment  'Last' Record Preserver (said to protect against wear damage for upto 200 plays) Most record collectors such as yourself are probably already using the treatment, but at least I've saved you the effort and the expense.   .

Full test play confirmed its glossy condition as Excellent, little occasional pops and tics ,only a couple of spots creating quiet repetetive tics, mostly on the lesser sought after Mozart side.

Has an  original EMI (?) style plastic lined dust jacket, in very good condition with a corner fold to aid insertion into jacket, and some amplifier settings written on by original owner
