Derek BAILEY - Solo guitar improvisations - UK Avantgarde Jazz 1985

Incus  48,   UK 12" stereo 1985

The cover of the record shows BACH:  Sonatas and Partitas for violin solo. Bailey writes: I put an E with a B and a G with a D and a A and a F. And a B with a C and a G and a E and BACH and a F and a A. And a ... - 'I am the guy who found the lost chord'

Derek Bailey (29 January 1930 – 25 December 2005) was an English avant-garde guitarist and leading figure in the free improvisation movement.  I am now wondering what kind of guitar he was playing - some metal guitar sound !? I love this music !
