Description

Out-of-print and hard-to-find on vinyl LP from Andre Williams & The Sadies titled "Red Dirt" released by Sonic Rendezvous (SR 9901) in 1999. Dutch pressing limited to 1,000. Greasy R&B crooner from the 50's/60's teams up with Canadian garage/country band for a bizarre affair. Andre applies his talk/sing style to tales of jealous murder, lust, suspicion, truckin' and more lust while the Sadies play raw and reverb-drenched country rock. Andre sings like he really feels it and the whole thing sounds pretty weird but in a good way. Cover art is different than the CD version.
