OK, having got that bit of business out of the way, welcome!
You are bidding on a 12” vinyl LP of the Deluxe Blues Band. This is a self-titled album. The Deluxe Blues Band were essentially a British blues band although they were fronted by Danny Adler (vocals and stunning guitar playing) from Cincinnati USA (if you wiki him you'll see he's played with many of the greats including John Lee Hooker as well as Ian Stewart's Rocket 88), more than ably supported in this band by esteemed British Bassist, Bob Brunning, the late great Dick Heckstall-Smith (Colosseum and many others) on Saxophone, Bob Hall (Rocket 88 and many others) on piano and last but not least, the also late, and also great, Mickey Waller (Rod Stewart & Jeff Beck bands......he was drummer on Maggie May, You Wear it Well etc) on drums. This is a great line-up!
I can't remember where I bought this album, possibly direct at a gig, but Mickey & Dick Heckstall-Smith were both personal acquaintances of mine back in the 1980's so I probably bought it as a result of that. Both of those guys are sadly no longer with us, but they've left behind some great music.
I rarely played this album when I bought it many years ago, but I don't know why. Having just played it, it has got some great playing and performances on it. Danny Adler's electric slide playing on this album, blew me away. A really fine album. The good news is, because I hardly played it when I bought it, it is now in stunning condition!
I have checked various music sites and I cannot find another version of it anywhere on the internet, either on vinyl or on cd. I have seen a few (not many) of their other albums on-line, but not this one. This I believe, is truly a very rare item.
It’s time to make some space so sadly I am selling my vinyl collection. Please check out my other items for sale and there are many more to follow, so keep checking back.
Please read the condition of the item carefully below before bidding. Unlike many people selling vinyl on eBay I play every track of every album before listing it. It’s very time consuming, but means I can give an accurate description and an honest opinion of condition. I do not accept returns, in saying that if you receive an album and you feel I have made a genuine mistake and missed a blatant defect, do please contact me.
I am not a record dealer and I am not an expert at grading records. I will give as much information as possible to assist in identifying particular albums.

CONDITION
Record: (Visually) Both labels clean. Vinyl has some light finger marking (Mine...from trying to read the matrix numbers!). I cannot see any scratches or scuffs at all. (Playing) As stated, I have just played it through. The quality is excellent. No surface noise, jumps, skips, or sticking. I didn't hear any clicks or pops at all. In short, I can't find anything wrong with it.
Cover: Single sleeve. Track listing and band info and photo on back. A couple of very light indentations to cover, and very small crease marks near edge/spine, (not obtrusive at all). Front and back very clean. Edges and corners don't have any sign of wear at all that I can see. Spine is undamaged and spine text clear and readable.
Inner sleeve: Plain white paper with die-cut circle and poly lined. All intact. Crease mark in one corner.
Compared with how others grade LP’s on eBay I would say this is Excellent + condition in every aspect. I have little doubt that some would be grading as near mint and to be honest, I couldn't argue with them!
If you would like any further information regarding this item, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer your questions.
Describing the condition of items is very subjective. (one man’s treasure is another man’s junk etc). I will always try to be as honest as possible in describing the items. I would rather be honest from the outset, than end up with a disappointed winning bidder. I buy things on eBay as well and would expect the same honesty from others.
There is no reserve on this item.

All albums are dispatched in sturdy cardboard mailers with additional stiffeners, to ensure safe arrival. The cost of this packaging is included in the postage price.
