David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust 1972 UK LP RCA 1st Mint Copy.
This is easily one of the best copies of Ziggy Stardust I've seen in a long long time..
It's a 1972 first issue UK release with the USA Dynaflex vinyl.
Have a look at the discogs pic I've included..
The Album cover is in incredible condition, it's certainly the best I've ever had and I've had plenty, you would think it was almost brand new.
The 4 corners are perfect
The album cover spine is mint.
It looks and feels like a new album,
You would be hard pushed to find better.
The original inner sleeve is also probably the best I've seen, NO CREASES!!!. every single one seems to be creased at every corner..
This inner sleeve is an absolute beauty
One flaw in the top right corner where a previous owner has his name in very small letters.
The Vinyl record is the very popular at the time Dynaflex version, it's in absolutely fantastic condition, really clean and glossy with no nasty marks or scratches, it's hard to really spot anything of note at all on the vinyl
I test play all my records before listing and this plays with no skips or sticks, there is a bit of surface noise or static which can be heard in some of the intros and outros.
But it sounds magic, the audio is something else.
As it's Dynaflex there is a small wobble but on my Pro-Ject Essential 3 it plays great.
The 2 labels are bright and in great nick, again previous owner has his name on one side but this copy is SO good it doesn't distract
I'm being picky here, but for a 50 year old album, the all round condition is jaw-dropping.
Especially the I see the money some others that have had a hard life go for.
Sorry for the long description but I hate a 3 or 4 line description for a record, seems to work for sdome but it's not for me. I like to give as much detail as possible.
Here's a bit more detail... This copy of Ziggy is everything I've said it is, and it's an absolute bargain compared to the state of others making mental money.
