Here is the original full colour LP sleeve designed and printed by RCA intended for the Station To Station LP, with full colour picture taken from The Man Who Fell To Earth movie, but then suddenly deleted by RCA and totally scraped before the official issue was made - which as we now know was finally done by RCA with only B&W artwork, perhaps to compliment the very B&W Thin White Duke.
Back in 1976 only a few of these rare colour LP sleeves were saved and exist now only in a handful of prized private collections around the world. Due to copyright issues these few proof sleeves should have all been destroyed and so the survivors are rated far more scare than any other early Bowie LP (TMWSTW drag sleeve for example was produced in thousands).
As a result of RCA's last minute change of mind this sleeve is now considered the holy grail and a true gem amongst serious db collectors, but the vinyl record itself is actually identical to the later official RCA release and so therefore not at all important!
This sleeve has all the original RCA product with all correct index codes, first printed in the USA and almost certainly a once in a lifetime chance to own one of the only remaining unreleased 1976 Station To Station proofs in immaculate condition!!!!

I defy anyone to produce 10 or 25 or 100 counterfeit copies of this colour LP let alone the thousands bootleggers apparently aim to produce? I will happily buy them all, just tell me one thing.....where are they all ? Japan, UK errrr USA? Just show me a couple of dozen then that have ever surfaced? In fact show me a handfull? mmmm its gone very quiet.

THANKS TO THOSE ASKING, TO CLARIFY THIS COLOUR STS LP SLEEVE RATES NEAR MINT PLUS, THERE ARE NO CREASES, FOLDS OR SCUFFS, KEPT IN A PROTECTIVE PLASTIC LP COVER SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN MID 90's FROM A FORMER RCA EMPLOYEE ALONG WITH A TON OF OLD OFFICIAL BOWIE FAN CLUB MEMORABILIA.
