Description

An original 1st press of S2S on the UK RCA label. Matrix 1E/1E - very 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. Also included is the original RCA inner sleeve and credit insert. Note how the inner sleeve is date coded to 1/76 - January 1976 the 1st month of release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and I can honestly say I've never seen or heard a better copy. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Woah, so this copy is like top-draw for audio..I literally cannot find fault whatsoever. It just plays perfectly clean from start to finish without the faintest hint of background. One of Bowie's truly great albums and you really need to hear it at 1st pressing on a perfect copy. It just delivers..and keeps delivering the whole way through. Interference is completely absent. I'll do my usual catch-all...you might detect a couple of isolated crackles per side.. A nigh on faultless rendition and an easy recommendation at 'FINAL UPGRADE' level.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and as you can imagine this title is not all that easy to find in tip top condition. Lovely white unaged and untarnished cover front and back. I can only make out super-light handling it is very impressive. There's barely any edge wear at all and the openings are sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very impressive example that would be hard to improve upon.
Insert (Ex) Looks fine. No issues or ageing at all.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. Lightest ageing.
