Description
A 1st pressing of Lodger from 1979 on UK RCA. Matrix A1/B1. Stamped 'STERLING'. Etching 'No Sense Is Better than...No Sense At All'. Ridged labels per the true 1st press. The LP comes housed in an original laminated wide spine gatefold. Also included is the lyric inner and the original white RCA inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex+) Truly exceptional condition. Shiny like new and has clearly seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. It's difficult to imagine finding a better copy - this one is certainly a final upgrade. The intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity and barely a hint of interference. We didn't detect any background at all - not more than one or two crackles [literally the whole way through]. The audio is absolutely top-draw.
Cover (Ex+) Again the owner of this LP must have been one fastidious individual. This cover pretty much looks like it was made yesterday. It is in absolutely exceptional condition. No edge wear, no creases, or marking. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover has perfect rigidity. Again, this is as good as it gets...
Lyric Sheet (Ex+) In great condition. No splits or markings.
Inner Sleeve (Ex) Light ageing. No rips or markings.
