Description
This is an original pressing of The Light Crust Doughboys on Audio Lab label. The record is in VG+ condition. There are light surface scratches, but they are barely audible when playing. The recording is amazingly clean. One label has a name sticker which probably can be removed but I didn't want to try. The cover is VG. There is a name written on the top left front. There is a 2" seam split on the top, and a 6" seam split on the botton.
The Light Crust Doughboys is an American Western swing band from Texas organized in 1931 by the Burrus Mill and Elevator Company in Saginaw, Texas.[1] The band achieved its peak popularity in the few years leading up to World War II. In addition to launching Western swing pioneers Bob Wills and Milton Brown, it provided a platform for many of the best musicians of the genre, including Tommy Duncan, Cecil Brower, John Parker and Kenneth Pitts.
