David Bowie Hunky Dory Laminated Cover 1971 Very Rare Early Press
*** 1971 HUNKY DORY LAMINATED COVER 3T MATRIX VINYL***
Very early pressing with laminated front cover, 3T/3T matrix and Rasputin / Bobil stampers. In nice condition for a 50 year old record. Cover is vibrant and clean apart from some slight wrinkles on the laminate and dented corners as pictured. The lyric insert is clean and clear with very slight barely visible wrinkling. The labels are bright and vibrant with a glossy sheen. The vinyl only has very faint hairline marks visible under bright light. It plays beautifully. The original white inner bag has a few crinkles and age browning. It has the blue text correct for this release. Overall a beautiful copy of this very hard to find piece of history which sold very few copies before it was reissued in 1972.
The 1971 pressings are far superior sound quality.
