Description

David Bowie

Extremely Rare 7" Vinyl Record
- Top Collector's Item from 1969

Space Oddity / The Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud

AUSTRALIAN First Press on Black PHILIPS Labels - Ref. BF-452

  • This is the first Australian Philips pressing on black labels that was then replaced by a blue label
  • Sleeve: Plain white sleeve
  • Labels: VG, labels have a few surface signs of age, would grade EX if not mostly damaged by unfortunate stickers that one may try to remove (see scans)
  • Vinyl: G-VG, quite a lot of marks, mostly hairlines apparently, but some might be sctratches, I did not play the record so no warranty here.
This second David Bowie Aussie 7" record is quite a rarity,  thus a valuable item despite its unperfect condition.

Maybe a unique chance to get this nice copy waiting for a new home were it will be taken care of. Just think of its age: this is 45 years old collector's gemmie!!!

This record comes from a major collection were it was properly stored and taken big care of.

All top-collector items (prices above US$ 100) are stored using the best available material, also used by national libraries for example:
  • The record is separated from its sleeve and placed in a polylined paper sleeve made from acid-free material;
  • The record and the sleeve are separated by an acid-free cardboard insert; and
  • Record and its sleeve are placed in a mylar, archival polyester of the highest quality, outer-sleeve.
I try to grade as honestly as possible. As a collector myself and not a dealer, I know the importance of details, so please read the description carefully. If unhappy with any of my items for any reason, please contact me, I am confident we will work it out.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Worldwide flat rate shipment of USD 20$ (registered priority, packed carefully). The automated Ebay system forces me to offer a 4$ shipment fee (apparently for US buyers(?), which can not be accepted for this auction.
