Daniel Lanois Acadie on 180g Import 2LP Available on Vinyl for the First Time Since 1989! Remastered from the Original Tapes with Expanded Sleeve Design & Seven Bonus Tracks! Diverse Records presents the classic Daniel Lanois debut LP Acadie, available on vinyl for the first time since its original 1989 release. Lanois started his production career when he was 17, working in his own studio with his brother Bob Lanois in the basement of their mother’s Ancaster, Ontario home, recording local artists. Within ten years his production talents saw him working with Brian Eno (Ambient 4), and onto classic albums by U2 (The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree), Peter Gabriel (Birdy, So) and Bob Dylan (Oh Mercy). Inspired by a move from Canada to New Orleans, and sublime recording sessions with the Neville Brothers (Yellow Moon) and Dylan, Daniel’s debut album as a recording artist was issued in 1989. Acadie is a stunning blend of styles, fusing Cajun, rhythm and blues, rock and new age ambience, taking influence from many of Lanois’ recent production works. Most noticeably among those are Peter Gabriel’s So and Robbie Robertson, but also the Neville Brothers and U2, members of whom appear in the stellar line up of musicians here. This deluxe redesigned reissue includes the classic album and seven unreleased gems from the vault. Remastered from the original tapes. Unfortunately, we can't accomodate local pickups as we are an internet-based store only.
- How long before my order ships?
Orders usually ship within 2-7 business days. Please understand that it is impossible to keep all 100,000+ items (and multiple copies of those items) in stock at all times. Sometimes an order gets caught while re-supplying. Once an order is in the hands of the USPS, it can take another 2-14 days.
- Why hasn't my item been shipped yet?
Please be patient. It is somewhere in our delivery path. Sometimes our emails get screened out. The bottom line is that 90% of all orders arrive within 10 days and 99% arrive within 3 weeks.
- Will I be able to track my shipment?
Yes, tracking is included with all shipments.
- What types of payments do you accept?

- How do you handle refunds and credits?

- Can I return my product?
Yes, if your product is defective, we will send a replacement as long as it is sent back within 30 days of purchase.
- What if my order is not complete when it arrives?
Check your shipping confirmation e-mail to make sure the items weren't sent in multiple shipments. If they weren't, contact us and we we'll take care of it.
- What if one of my items is not available (out of print/stock)?
Record companies take LP's cd's, and dvd's in and out of circulation all the time, without notice, to generate future demand. We have no control over this and it affects all media sellers. Therefore, we will refund the item(s) and the shipping charges and send the rest of your shipment.
