Up for bids is an original Mono Jazz LP by Donald Byrd called "Fuego" on Blue Note Records. BLP 4026. 1960.
ORIGINAL PRESSING WITH "43 West 61st St., New York 23" on back of cover, bottom-center, and "47 WEST 63rd ? NYC" ON BOTH LABELS!
Record is Deep Groove on Side 1, but not on Side 2.
Front of cover is laminated.
Record's edges are raised.
"?" (Registered Trademark) SYMBOL ON BOTH LABELS!
Both Matrix (or Trail-Off) have the "EAR" and stamped "RVG"!
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG Minus condition. Front and back have wear. Back of cover has some staining and an old, dried tape mark by the opening. Top of cover has a 2 3/4" split by the spine with some fraying. Bottom of cover is completely split with some tape all across. Spine is almost completely intact and looks really nice!
I would rate the record’s condition as VG. There are some marks and scratches. Some are deep but do NOT skip on my player (can not guarantee they won't on yours). Still has good fidelity and sounds great!
Makes a great gift for any Donald Byrd or Jackie McLean fan!
