DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a great example of a VERY RARE original 1968 UK release by DON CHARLES on the Parlophone label (R 5688) "THE DRIFTER" b/w "GREAT TO BE LIVIN'" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 4-prong push-out centre. In repro period-correct Parlophone company sleeve.
This terrific single is in a super mint minus (M-) condition. Clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen and without any discernible surface marks or blemishes. The labels are nice and clean with no stickers, tears or writing (see scans). The 4-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There are no spindle marks or signs of wear. , The record plays superbly, loud and clear, without hiss or crackle or anything to spoil the enjoyment. Definitely no skips or jumps.
