He had a couple of very rare EP’s on Leedon and London then this one in 1962 on Festival. It’s not as rare as the first two but finding a copy sure ain’t easy. A bit of surface sound at the beginning of each side but it soon settles down and plays well. There’s a name on one label which would probably soak off if you wanted. The cover has some problems and most of them are obvious from the scan.eg little number on front, a bit of peeling of letters at top right and a spinal tear of about an inch or so in the same place. Name on back etc The whole thing is rather messy but like I say- hard to find these days and the songs–especially the gutsy ball tearer “I Was Born to Cry” are killers. Keeper copy.

MINT-; In newish condition. Almost no surface marks. No deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras nearly perfect. EXCELLENT; Shows signs of having been played, little lessening of sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing
VERY GOOD +; Obviously has been played many times. No major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Some wear and tear on cover or contents.
VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times, some deterioration in sound quality cover, label, extras. Moderate amount of wear and tear.
VERY GOOD-; Further deterioration in sound quality. Considerable wear and tear on cover and it’s contents
GOOD; Just playable. Considerable surface noise. It may even jump. Heavy scratches etc Cover has very serious problems eg defacing, staining missing pieces etc
