I have made the decision to sell my entire personal vinyl collection of Classic Rock, Blues, Blues Rock & Progressive Rock LPs!!! They are all originals with only a handful being ‘early non-barcode’ 1970s/80s re-issues, none are ‘modern’ re-issues. All the LPs have been fully play tested for appraisal on a Rega P3 deck fitted with an Elys 2 cartridge prior to listing…

Outer Sleeve: EX (Excellent) – Standard plain white sleeve for the release in great all round great shape with very minimal signs of wear. Good, strong, straight spine with barely any edge wear.
Inner Sleeve: EX (Excellent) – Original poly inner with no splits. Comes with a brand new poly white paper inner.
Vinyl: EX (Excellent) – Nice sheen with a few hairlines etc. that don’t affect playback at all. Great clear, strong audio throughout with no distortion, skips or jumps.

Grading of vinyl is subjective and as with all my vinyl listings I try to provide as much information as possible in the form of both photographs and written detail. Just as I would want if I were looking at vinyl with a view to buying. I've had a good look and listen to this LP this afternoon and am tempted to change to grading to that below. Maybe I'm being too fussy, I don't know, you may well listen to it and think, "what's he on about, sounds fine to me...". It is a great listen, but I just think that at this stage by doing this it's fairer to everyone, to both those that have bid and may wish to change their mind and to those that are thinking of bidding.
It's a rare and desirable LP, you all know that, so a liitle more detail would probably be best...
Vinyl: VG+ to EX- (Very Good Plus to Excellent Minus) – The vinyl has a nice sheen to it, has obviously been played a few times, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. It's hard to tell because as you all know it was a self financed budget recording by the band to start with. It has some minor crackles on the run-in, the run-out and between the tracks, but these are not too loud, maybe a good professional clean would clear them. It has a few hairlines and surface marks, but these don't affect the audio on playback. To my ears good audio throughout with all instruments, vocals & mix retaining their clarity. It doesn't have any skips or jumps.
