DEEP PURPLE
“COME TASTE THE BAND”
MEGARARE original DEEP PURPLE Records very first STEREO press released in Chile in 1976 by Deep Purple Records, licensed from Deep Purple (Overseas) Ltd., made and distributed by Industrias Eleéctricas Y Musicales Odeon S.A. (Odeon Records), catalog number 5092 with hand etched matrix numbers TPSA 7515 A 1 in Side 1 and TPSA 7515 B 1 in Side 2, with traditional purple Deep Purple Records label. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!
“COME TASTE THE BAND” of Deep Purple was originally released in 1975 but we had to wait until 1976 to see this great album released in Chile and like most of the releases of that time, we got an UNIQUE COVER, a gatefold cover made with 3 single pieces of cardboard, one of them folded in the middle to form the front and back covers, other piece to form the left inner side and the other piece to form the right inner side with the flips attached to back cover. Front, back and inner covers keep the same artwork with all text written in English. The only text in Spanish is to inform it’s a Chilean press, as you can see in the picture. In labels all the text is written in Spanish but the tracklist is translated to English. The only song written only in English in labels is “Getting’ Tighter”. Title of the album is also written in Spanish, “VEN A PROBAR LA BANDA” and translated to English. Yes, yes, yes… Here it’s a REAL FIND, another rarity of Deep Purple from Chile never seen before in eBay… And see the pictures, it’s in GREAT CONDITION!!!
The cover was already described and it’s in VG or VG+ condition, no missing parts, no ring marks, no writings, only some minimal wear in the mouth side and corners, the right top corner lamination is unsticked and in back cover is a blemish, but anyway it’s still solid with no seam splits at all. Inner sides are unlaminated and have a light ring mark and some age browning. The record is in VG + or EX- condition, glossy and clean, but with some very light scratches, hairlines and light scuffs, which don’t affect play at all. Labels on both sides are in great NM or NM+ condition, clean and clear. The sound is the best part, it’s in great EX or EX+ condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, with no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only some light crackles here and there, which don’t distract from the great sound of this album at all. Most of the songs play in absolute NM or NM+ condition!!! Overall it’s still a great record with a very nice look and amazing sound quality after 36 years!!! This record has never been offered in eBay before and here you have the chance to get it in a so great condition!!! Yes Sirs, WHAT A FIND… again…
Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…
Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
