UK EMI/PURPLE RECORDS (TPSA 7515) FIRST PRESSING (October 1975) OF DEEP PURPLE'S OUTSTANDING "Come Taste The Band" LP IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION - I DON'T THINK THIS COPY HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED - THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH NO SPINDLE TRACES, THE VINYL SHINES LIKE NEW AND THE SLEEVE IS AS CRISP AND FACTORY-FRESH AS THE DAY IT WAS MADE

THE LP HAS THE FIRST ISSUE EMI/PURPLE LABELS
FIRST ISSUE MATRIX: TPSA 7515 A-1U (stamped "KENDUN") / TPSA 7515 B-1U (stamped "KENDUN")
MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 2/AT and 2/AO
AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL DEEPLY, DEEPLY GLOSSY, FULLY LAMINATED (inside and outside) GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Made and printed in Great Britain" - THERE ARE NO ACTUAL PRINTERS CREDITS BUT THE SLEEVE HAS ALL THE HALLMARKS OF A GARROD & LOFTHOUSE PRINT
AND COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVE (printed on textured paper with the characteristic first issue square cut corner)

A SUPERB UK FIRST PRESSING OF AN ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS LP AND I THINK A FINER COPY WOULD BE PRETTY HARD TO LOCATE INDEED - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

LABELS: The labels are like-new - clean and bright with no unwanted marks/writing and no evident spindle traces - I don't think this copy has ever been played
VINYL Visual: The vinyl still retains its original deep, like new, glossy sheen and is practically unmarked (there are some light hairlines caused by the inner but these have no audio consequence and a small superficial light mark on "Dealer" but this again, has no audio consequence)
VINYL Audio: Sensational audio on this first pressing, beautifully recorded with an incredibly strong, rich, warm and vibrant sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing and how this LP really needs to be heard) there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps and no surface noise. Even though this copy appears completely unplayed there are a couple of clicks between the tracks 'Lady Luck' and 'Gettin' Tighter' but these are really very, very minor and there are also a few very light intermittent background static-like ticks on 'Love Child' (but these again, are extremely minor and unobtrusive and I did grade the LP at a very loud volume) otherwise, the sound quality is sensationally strong and the LP plays to an extremely high standard with all frequencies bright and clear and there is no groove-wear or distortion. Critically graded a NEAR MINT for audio (because of those minor clicks but otherwise, pristine) this is a really fantastic copy
SLEEVE: The fully laminated gatefold sleeve is also in superb condition - clean, unmarked, factory-fresh and practically as new. The surfaces have a beautiful deep glass-like glossy sheen with no rubbing, the edges are crisp and sharp with no wear and the spine is straight and true with all text clear and bold - beautiful sleeve - MINT(-)
LYRIC INNER: The lyric inner sleeve is clean, bright and unmarked with no splits to any of its edges (which is incredibly rare for this inner) and is also graded MINT(-) The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
