Description
This is your chance to own an original 1969 pressing of David Bowie's second LP, on Philips SBF 7912. The album that was eventually reissued in 1972 as "Space Oddity". It comes in a gatefold sleeve, with the lyrics printed on the inner gatefold. The cover itself has a very small amount of rubbing to the edges and spine, although the spine text is still readable (a small abrasion just below the words "DAVID BOWIE") but on the most part it is in very nice condition with no writing or scratch marks. Considering it is a non-laminated sleeve it has survived very well. The record has a few light surface scratches, and apart from the odd click and bit of light surface noise here and there, it plays very well indeed, and sounds superb! No jumping or sticking! The label shows a little bit of spindle wear on side one, but side two looks perfect. These don't come up for sale very often, so bid now on this startlingly rare Bowie artifact!!!
