Description
Up for auction is a nice original copy of the David Bowie album Low originally released in the U.S. on RCA Records (CPL1-2030) in 1977.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-Original RCA black labels -STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax
-Original inner sleeve
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: Many copies being sold on eBay as "original" are actually reissues with a different catalog number from this one: CPL1-2030 is correct original.
Condition: Cover is nice, with very light wear. No ring wear on front or back. No seam splits, but the edges show some light rubbing wear here and there. Corners are lightly rubbed. A couple light, hard to see marks upper right corner on back (see photo). Light wear spot on middle of spine (see photo). Still has a nice shine. A well-preserved original.
Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl is very nice, still has its original shine. Looks very clean, perhaps some superficial signs from taking the vinyl out of the inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like it's been played only a couple times at most, but handled with care. Very nice original.
